MLBB KOHAI SEA Championship Season 2

The KOHAI SEA Championship is one of the most prestigious Mobile Legends tournaments. KOHAI organizes it for South East Asian MLBB gamers. KOHAI SEA (South East Asia) Championship season 2 Wild Card stage ended on November 30th. The main event will follow up in December. It consists of a Wild Card event and a main event. Teams compete in this event to get a chance to fight in the main event. Players from the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Indonesia will participate in the tournament.

We will try to give you insight into this great MLBB tournament. We will walk you through the wild card format, group distribution, and predictions.

MLBB KOHAI SEA Championship Season 2 Wild Card stage

The wild card stage mainly presents eight teams that clash to get a chance at the main event. The wild card event started on 27th November and ended on November 30th. The teams that qualify for the wild card stage are divided into two groups that consist of four teams each. Only three teams will qualify for the main event. Here is a short insight into the Wild Card event format:

Wild card event: 27th – 29th November 2023

  • Eight random teams are drawn into two groups.
  • Matches are conducted in a Single Round Format
  • Matches are Bo3 series
  • The top 2 teams from each group QUALIFY to the Crossover Match.
  • The bottom 2 teams from each group are OUT

Crossover Event: 30th November 2023

  • First-place teams clash in a Bo3 series against the other group’s runner-up.
  • The winner of every match is promoted to the Main Event
  • The defeated will fight for one more slot in the Main Event.

Group A

  • Red Giants E-sports (RG)
  • Omega Esports (OMG)
  • Team Secret (TS)
  • BURN x FLASH (BURN)

Group B

  • RSG Malaysia
  • Minana EVOS (MNNE)
  • Team HAQ (THQ)
  • MPX NSEA (MPNC)

Wild Card Results

Red Giants E-sports and Minana EVOS stood as the top teams from Groups A and B after the breathtaking games of the wild card event. Omega E-sports and RSG Malaysia also fought and secured second place from their respective groups. The four other teams could not move on to the Crossover matches as they were eliminated from the tournament.

Crossover Match Results

Red Giants E-sports and RSG Malaysia clashed against each other, and RSG Malaysia came out victorious after a great team effort. On the other hand, Minana EVOS found a well-deserved victory after the match against Omega E-sports. For the third slot, the defeated teams from the first two matches, Red Giants E-sports and Omega E-sports, competed. Red Giants E-sports stood glorious and secured its slot for the main event.

Main Event Schedule

The schedule for the main event has not yet been announced. We will update it as soon as we are informed about it. It is possible to be held between 20 and 31 December 2023.

Predictions

The outcome cannot be predicted as the match draws have not yet been released. We will update it as soon as the draws are released.
