There are various ways to defeat hoarding bugs in Lethal Company. Once inside the facility, you will see the monsters in different locations. They are doing something similar to you, hoarding scraps. This can be a great source to collect some scraps; however, it is very dangerous.

If you keep following these monsters, you will eventually reach their loot. But once you get near the loot, they will get defensive and try to attack you. However, you will not get hurt if you maintain a safe distance from them. So once you get close to them to steal their loot, ensure you have weapons to tackle any unwanted scenarios.

You can kill the Hoarding Bugs several times by hitting them with your weapon. But it will not be a good choice if you plan to run after attacking them, as they are way faster than you and your teammates. You can run quickly, but Hoarding Bugs will still catch up to you. Or you can drop off one of your items for them to take and go away by making them happy. However, you should have enough items on your list to do this.
